REGISTRATION

INFORMATION

  • Participants choose their “Experience Path” upon registering for the event. Experience Paths are designated as Youth Artist, Teen Artist, or Adult.

  • Observer Passes are available for purchase for parents, guardians, and/or teachers not registering for the Adult path. Observer Passes will allow access to the general event, a select few workshops, and presentations. Observers must be registered with a Youth Artist or Teen Artist to ensure the safety of our participants.

  • Registration for Youth Artist, Teen Artist, and Adult are inclusive of all workshops, presentations, and other onsite experiences offered in each corresponding Experience Path. Some presentations and onsite experiences require pre-registration [free of charge] to tailor the experience for our participants.

  • Separate registration is required for the following, for no additional fees:

    • The Audition Experience [Youth Artist & Teen Artist]

  • Participants may register as an individual or a group.

    • ‘Individual’ refers to artists, parents/guardians, or teachers registering with no affiliation to a group attending the event.

    • ‘Group’ refers to any studio, school, or other institution/establishment with multiple artists, parents/guardians, and/or teachers registering for an event. Discounts are available for large group registrations.

 

The onsite experience will remain the same for both independent and group participants, as this simply refers to the method of registration.

 

  • There are no competitive elements at any Artists Unite Collective event. Part of our mission is to help build a community and provide a space for artists to connect and collaborate throughout their continuous Experience Paths.

GUIDELINES

  • Artists Unite Collective offers experiences for young performing artists ages 10 - 19 and the adults that support them. Participants must be at least age 10 by the end of the event year, December 31st, 2025.

 

  • Suggested age ranges for each Experience Path:

    • Youth Artist: 10 – 14

    • Teen Artist: 14 – 19

    • Adult: 18+

 

  • Adult is described as a teacher or parent/guardian of attending artist, or other teacher/young experienced artist within the performing arts industry. The Adult path is focused on providing information and perspective to further support the growth and knowledge of the next generation of artists (Youth and Teen Artists).

 

AGES 10 - 17

 

  • Participants ages 10 – 17 may choose to register for either the Youth Artist or Teen Artist Experience Path.

 

  • Choice of Experience Path registration is at the discretion of the artist, parent/guardian, and/or teacher of an affiliated establishment. The choice between Youth Artist and Teen Artist should be based on individual growth level and experience.

 

  • The age suggestions associated with the Youth Artist and Teen Artist Experience Paths are highly encouraged, based on the learning styles and developmental levels of the artists, as well as the appropriateness of customized content in each workshop and presentation geared toward that specific age range.

 

  • Some workshops will combine Youth Artist and Teen Artist and/or all age groups.

 

AGES 18 - 19

 

  • Participants ages 18 – 19 between January 1, 2025 - December 31st, 2025, may choose to register for either the Teen Artist or Adult Experience Path, or simply purchase an Observer Pass if they are also registering a Youth Artist or Teen Artist.

 

  • Teen Artist Experience Path Option: If they are still an active performer who wants to learn more about their craft and grow as a performing artist.

 

  • Adult Experience Path Option: If they want to focus on supporting the growth and knowledge of the next generation of performing artists.

 

AGES 20+

 

  • Participants age 20+ on January 1, 2025, may choose to register for the Adult Experience Path. Adult is described as a teacher or parent/guardian of attending artist, or other teacher/young experienced artist within the performing arts industry. The Adult path is focused on providing information and perspective to further support the growth and knowledge of the next generation of artists. Alternatively, they may simply purchase an Observer Pass if they are also registering a Youth Artist or Teen Artist.

  • Youth Artists are additionally welcome to attend the Opening and Closing Presentations, visit our onsite Resource Expo sponsor and partner tablesand take part in the additional interactive options available in the lobby.

 

TEEN ARTIST

SUGGESTED AGES 14 – 19

 

  • Registration includes participatory access to all path-applicable interactive talk and movement workshops.

 

  • Teen Artists can participate in The Audition Experience for no additional fee. Separate registration is required.

 

  • Teen Artists are additionally welcome to attend the Opening and Closing Presentations, visit our onsite Resource Expo sponsor and partner tablesand take part in the additional interactive options available in the lobby.

 

ADULT: AGE 18+

 

  • Registration includes participatory access to all path-applicable interactive talk and movement workshops.

 

  • Adults are additionally welcome to attend the Opening and Closing Presentations, visit our onsite Resource Expo sponsor and partner tablesand take part in the additional interactive options available in the lobby.

 

  • Adults are not permitted in The Audition Experience for the comfort of the artists.

 

  • Adult is described as a teacher or parent/guardian of attending artist, or other teacher/young experienced artist within the performing arts industry.The Adult path is focused on providing information and perspective to further support the growth and knowledge of the next generation of artists.

 

OBSERVER PASS

 

  • Observer passes are available for purchase. Observers must be parents/guardians or teachers affiliated with a registered Youth Artist or Teen Artist.

 

  • Observer passes permit viewing access to movement workshops affiliated with their registered Youth Artist or Teen Artist only.

 

  • Observers are not permitted in interactive talk workshops, or The Audition Experience for the comfort of the artists. 

 

  • Observers are additionally welcome to attend the Opening and Closing Presentations, visit our onsite Resource Expo sponsor and partner tablesand take part in the additional interactive options available in the lobby. 

 

  • AUC reserves the right to limit Observers within each workshop, subject to attendance and space limitations.

 

  • AUC reserves the right to revoke any Observer privileges.

INTERACTIVE TALK WORKSHOPS

 

  • Our interactive talk workshops are educational sessions led by professionals in their various fields of creativity, wellness, and other areas of performing arts. They are designed to inform, support, and engage participants as artists, athletes, and humans.

  • Registration includes participatory access to all Experience Path-applicable interactive talk workshops.

 

MOVEMENT WORKSHOPS

 

  • Our movement workshops cover a wide range of foundational building blocks to broaden and deepen artist technique, creativity, and an understanding of physicality and performance.

 

  • Registration includes participatory access to all Experience Path-applicable movement workshops.

The experience opportunities below vary in participatory access based on each Experience Path. They are provided in addition to ongoing workshops and are optional, yet encouraged, opportunities. Some require separate registration [no additional fee].

 

OPENING & CLOSING PRESENTATIONS

 

  • All general participants, including Youth Artists, Teen Artists, Adults, and Observers are welcome and encouraged to attend the Opening Presentation as viewers.

 

THE AUDITION EXPERIENCE

 

  • Please note The Audition Experience is separate from the movement workshop titled: “Auditioning: The Ins & Outs”, which is included in the Youth Artist and Teen Artist Experience Paths.

 

  • Separate registration for The Audition Experience is required [no additional fee].

 

  • Participants for The Audition Experience can be registered for the Youth Artist or Teen Artist path.

 

  • Only Youth Artists and Teen Artists separately registered for The Audition Experience are allowed to participate. No Observers or Adults are permitted access for the comfort of the participating artists. Youth Artists or Teen Artists that did not register for The Audition Experience are permitted as viewers for the learning experience.

    • Registration may be allowed onsite at some events where space is not limited. We encourage pre-registration as this is not guaranteed.

MINI-RESOURCE EXPO

 

  • Some partners and affiliates may be present at certain AUC events as part of our mini Resource Expo. All participants and Observers are welcome to speak with their representatives when onsite!
